My husband booked this as a surprise get away (normally left to me!) but am I glad he did it’s been amazing so peaceful and relaxing is beyond belief (apart from his snoring).
Mike & Susie are brilliant people, so down to earth and nothing is too much trouble and they work so hard too.
The lodge is absolutely perfect , with an eye for details and special touches, it makes you smile the minute you walk in (perfect)
Now the bed ! (GET ONE)
It’s the most comfy bed ever ! and all we done is sleep (raiding the savings for one when I get home)
The spa is super, my muscle pain has given me a break since using it (BLISS)
Between 5 and 7pm if you look left you can see all the bunnies hopping around under the trees.
Don’t worry about shops , there’s plenty. Take a right at the gate and 1.5 miles up the road you have Asda, Home Bargains, Iceland, Costa etc
We ordered meal from “Italian Pasta & Pizza” on Deliveroo, the calamari and prawns were yum and also had a meal at “Chopsticks” that was tasty too
