My boyfriend booked this for my birthday a few months ago. Mike & Susie were super welcoming. First night we went to the George & Dragon for a nice dinner, couldn't fault the food! The little touches to the room were so lovely. The view from Rabbit Corner exceeded any expectations we could've had. Super easy to load in near cabin, Mike & Susie have made sure it's fully equipped! Overall is has been such a lovely weekend hopefully we'll be back (if I speak to my boyfriend super nicely)! What a wonderful find! We had such a lovely stay - from breakfast on the decking to of course a stint in the hot tub! Fantastic after a days walking. Perfect hosts - excellent communication from booking to leaving. You're totally thought of everything, the little touches were perfect too. Booked foxhill Lodge for my girlfriends birthday. The lodge was lovely and cosy with a couple of cakes and a birthday baloon. The hot tub was fantastic we was in it all weekend. Would highly recommend foxhill lodges. Owners Mike and Susie where very friendly and welcoming.

We have had an amazing stay here at Butterfly Lodge for our anniversary! The room was lovely and clean. The hot tub and the view were amazing particularly at sunset. The owners are beyond lovely and made us feel welcome. The view in the morning was breath taking and this was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Came here for our anniversary, it was amazing! We went to Wildwood restaurant, it was average food BUT they had cookies & cream cheesecake! Ordered an Indian from Cinnamon 10/10 . We have had an amazing weekend here at Butterfly Lodge! The lodge, the hosts and the beautiful scenery have been absolutely brilliant! Mike was very welcoming when we first arrived and showed us around and even recommended some great places in Canterbury including The Pound , where we went and would 100% recommend to anyone that stays here! Very clean and personal touches made it a lovely weekend.

Sometimes just need to get away from home for few days to unwind. Foxhill Lodges was perfect. Beautiful dark skies for the Draconids meteor shower, very peaceful surrounding's from which we watched the world go by. Buzzards, yaffles, bunnies, horses and an amazing couple of days of very late sunshine. Mike and Susie pay such attention to detail with these Lodges, whilst avoiding tackiness. Not easy to achieve. They were on hand to sort out any problems and not intrusive. I'd (we'd) love to stay again in a heartbeat Thanks guys😊 P.S. for cocktails the Curious Cat is great

This place is perfect. So peaceful, scenic, beautiful. Just a night away here, a break away from the children an opportunity to reconnect in the stunning Kent countryside. Thank you for the most amazing stay. This was exactly what we needed, our first ever weekend away together and it's been perfect. The most amazing hosts who made us feel very welcome. Had a fabulous weekend at Owl Lodge, views across the valley are breath taking and the only sound is the whispering of the grass in the breeze. So tranquil and the perfect hideaway for a romantic break. Caroline fell in love with the hot tub and Ivor with the horses (and the both of us a little more in love with each other - how could you not in this perfect setting). The owners were so friendly too - even once stopping when they spotted us at the bus stop to give us a lift into town - they didn't need to do that & the fact they did shows how lovely they are. Fantastic all round experience - so thank you very much XXX

My partner booked Foxhill Lodges for my 30th Birthday as a quiet getaway weekend (after we parted lest weekend :D) Boy does this place not disappoint! We spent three lovely relaxing evenings in Butterfly Lodge. I had a lovely birthday (no cooking/cleaning/food shop :-) ..it was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time. The lodge was so cute. Thank you for the daffodil plant, it's on my kitchen shelf and flowering. It was very kind of you. Thanks also for contacting me as my husband left his jacket, and then offering to send it back, again very kind. I can't think of anything that would improve the lodge....it is perfect as it is. Our friends stayed here before and always have good taste and it really didn't disappoint. We booked for a "pick me up" but it has a special feeling so we thought why not celebrate on third year anniversary early. The cabin is so cosy and homely, it caters for everything, hostess with the mostest! Susie was so friendly and helpful. We choose Indian take away from the many dining options, followed by hot tub, it was so relaxing in the surrounding rural grounds, really was peaceful. It makes a nice change to wake up to open fields and seeing the daylight coming into the cabin. We adventured to Canterbury town, it is historic and full of character. Second night we went to Ye Olde Yew Tree lnn for pub food, the Kentish oldest pub and finished off with more bubbles! We loved it here and would come again, thank you Susie & Mike XX

We came frazzled, we left relaxed! All the cake has gone, we got in the hot tub every day (instant heat): we cosied up and saw horses + bunnies and half of Kent on our days out. A wonderful base from which to explore and come back to a sanctuary at the end of the day. Loved it !! XX

Where do we even begin, from booking, to arrival our hosts were amazing. This lodge has everything you could want and more. I arranged with Suzie for flowers and chocolates to be here on arrival but they went even further by decorating the whole room out You've got everything covered and more. How do you improve on perfection? We cannot fault anything over the last 2 nights. Our hosts, Mike & Susie were so welcoming and the extra touches were truly appreciated. This has been the most perfect get away. The natural beauty + the tranquil surroundings were exadly what we both needed to recharge. The beautiful Butterfly lodge is so well equipped and maintained. Firstly, what helpful hosts Mike and Susie are! We have had an unbelievable time here. It is heaven! We are getting married on 20th and it was Dan's birthday so what a perfect place to unwind and celebrate. We are already thinking of Hottub Holiday take 2. The hot hub was brilliant and the scenery and wildlife are beautiful.lodge is done up beautifully! The lodge is done up beautifully too - so cute! We went into town and went to the Pound for cocktails. Foundry is a fabulous pub and closer to home, the George and Dragon pub was great for dinner. The farm shop is wonderful too for a good cheese haul! Thanks for a a magical stay for we will rebook soon! ☺

Such a wonderful weekend (Fri-Sun) I booked a surprise break for my husbands birthday, Susie & Mike arranged for chocolates and balloons to be in the lodge when we arrived. Thoroughly enjoyed to hot tub and extra little touches of cakes and starter kit. We got the bus into Herne Bay on Saturday and has a lovely meal in the Golden Lion (15 min walk). Romantic and secluded with beautiful views, peaceful ambience and enthusiastic hospitality.

Great location with little light pollution which amplified the starry night sky and calm atmosphere. The Lodge was very generously stocked and had every facility you could require plus there was not a spec of dirt or dust. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights. We came for her graduation at the University Of Kent and this was the perfect retreat from the busy Canterbury. We felt so relaxed and aa peace here of the cabin. The hot tub surely played a big part in this as we spent evey night in there. The open space, the view and the starlit sky made for a wonderful experience. We have had a lovely mini break at Rabbit Lodge !!! Mike + Susie are fab hosts - accommodating + understanding as we postponed our original booked date due to the storm. Mike recommended indian take away Cinnamon + it didn't disappoint. The lodge smelt amazing! The food basket is a lovely touch, the bed looked and felt devine + the extra touches like the toiletries + "Girls"bag for any forgotten items is a cute + thoughtful addition. I have just had the most amazing weekend at Foxhill lodge the accommodation was mind blowingly beautiful the attention to detail was outstanding they really had thought of everything, even down to a beautiful keep sake gift. The scenery was so picture perfect that you could sit and look out at it for hours. The hot tub was hot and fresh and welcoming and was so relaxing chilling under the stars. I 1000% recommend to anyone its perfect. I will definitely be returning in the spring.

Stayed last weekend as a last minute booking, great service from the hosts (with privacy), lovely views over rolling countryside, lots to see and do close by (coast, City and rural) and the hot tub is a real bonus. We would stay again.

We booked a last minute trip to Foxhill Lodges after finding it through Facebook! We absolutely loved it! It was the perfect break away, quite and just beautiful location! The hosts are so friendly and you feel so at home, they equipped us with everything we needed (which we didn’t know to expect), milk, juice, biscuits etc! Was a lovely touch! The lodge is equipped to a very high standard, air con and heating for any weather! Small kitchen with everything you need for a short stay! The bed is unbelievably comfortable - the best nights sleep ever!! Cosy and massive! The hot tub was lovely and private! To look at the stars at night and then watch the horses in the morning! Perfect location, about 10 mins away from Canterbury town and close to the seaside too! Thank you for such a lovely relaxing stay!

Fantastic and relaxing break away ! The location, view & hot tub were just what we were hoping for. The public transport links are really good we used the bus for most of the week to get out & about Mike & Susie are fabulous hosts, so friendly & helpful. The welcome basket that was left for us on our arrival was so thoughtful. We shall definitely be recommending you to family & friends.

Just spent a lovely week at Stag Lodge ! The lodge is very equipped & has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There was even milk, bread, butter and other treats when we arrived which was a lovely surprise ! We made good use of the hot tub especially star gazing in the evenings while relaxing as well as the views over the countryside. Susie & Mike are great hosts. Susie even took us to meet the rescued horses they look after. Thanks Susie & Mike, we hope to return ! XX

WOW What can we say I had the best time feeling very relaxed. We have both loved being here and will be back thats for sure. Susie and Mike THANK YOU for everything you have done, even the small touches made us smile

My husband booked this as a surprise get away (normally left to me!) but am I glad he did it's been amazing so peaceful and relaxing is beyond belief (apart from his snoring). Mike & Susie are brilliant people, so down to earth and nothing is too much trouble and they work so hard too. The lodge is absolutely perfect , with an eye for details and special touches, it makes you smile the minute you walk in (perfect) Now the bed ! (GET ONE) It's the most comfy bed ever ! and all we done is sleep (raiding the savings for one when I get home) The spa is super, my muscle pain has given me a break since using it (BLISS) Between 5 and 7pm if you look left you can see all the bunnies hopping around under the trees. Don't worry about shops , there's plenty. Take a right at the gate and 1.5 miles up the road you have Asda, Home Bargains, Iceland, Costa etc We ordered meal from "Italian Pasta & Pizza" on Deliveroo, the calamari and prawns were yum and also had a meal at "Chopsticks" that was tasty too Thank you Mike & Susie BEEN AMAZING! (WE WILL BE BACK)

Really lucked in here !! Thought we were going to have to drive from Hull every day whilst fitting out a local electrical retail outlet but found Foxhill Lodges at short notice. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in I'll be back with the Mrs 100% !!!! Mike & Susie have really looked afte us, 5 star !!!

Enjoyed our second visit Cannot say more than previous guests. Everything is perfect & peaceful Susie and Mike are the best of hosts Like the fact that we can park the car and travel easily by public transport. All adds to the relaxation

We had the most incredible 5 nights in this beautiful lodge. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome . Mike & Susie are such thoughtful, friendly hosts. We came away for our 2 year anniversary - they added such romantic touches - couldn't have asked for anything more. This place is accessible for a variety of takeaway places - would highly recommend chinese from The Golden Dragon! We also went to Wingham Wildlife Park / Zoo - strongly advise as made an excellent day out with variety to see! We had a good shopping trip at Whitefriars! So nice after our trips out to unwind in the relaxing hot tub with such incredible views! The perfect getaway! Will definitely come back ! Thank you so much Mike & Susie xx

Great location lodge, with a very large bed with high quality white cotton sheets & lovely blankets.

A welcome box with lots of yummy treats in . The hosts were so accommodating and very lovely

The hot tub was such a lovely bonus. We did yoga on the decking in the morning and then drank wine on it in the evening we couldn’t believe we had found such a magical place and loved every moment of it .

Stayed a week, and wished it was a fortnight! Very comfortable lodge, and all the little extras added a nice touch. Wonderful views over the Kent countryside. Mike and Susie were very helpful with where to go and what to see. Very welcoming to strangers to this part of the country. This was a very relaxing place to stay. The hot tub is a must!
